Thought for the day
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
- Matthew 7:7-8
Karnataka Central Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) believes in the lay participation in all levels. Fellowship of Ministerial Assistance is one such initiative where the lay leaders are recognised and given training so that they can be partners in Ministry. This year about 80 of the lay leaders were chosen after a short exam. They will go for regular classes in Biblical Studies, Theology, Ethics, Hermeneutics, pastoral counselling etc which is designed by the Diocese.
I was there to inaugurate the batch of 2020. May God bless all of them so that they will go through the training and help in the pastoral and other ministries of the Diocese. I would like to thank the Director Rev Dr Manohar Chandra Prasad, the convenor of the Nurture and witness committee the Rev BP Timothy, The Diocesan Secretary the Rev Paul Dhanasegaran, The Diocesan Associate Treasurer The Rev George Jaya Prabhu and other clergies for their participation and encouragement.
I also would like to thank Rev Sathyanandam Paul, the Presbyter in charge of St Peter’s Telugu church for their hospitality and making all the other arrangements.Back
