The Department of Mission and Evangelism of the Church of South India (CSI) Synod involved in the Christmas gathering of Global Missionary Society, Thoothukudy-Nazareth Diocese, on the 15th December 2020 at Jesus Redeems Centre, Nalumavadi. The gathering was well-organized by Rev. K. Daniel Edwin, General Secretary, DMPB. Rev. Maxcin John, Synod Mission Director shared Christmas Message. He stated that we are to represent Immanuel in the present world through our lives. He further stated that to represent Immanuel, and we should try our level best to make rapport with the people, listen to other's groaning, make ourselves available and approachable to others as Immanuel did. To becoming Immanuel is the 'Christmas challenge', he added. One-hundred and fifty participants attended the programme. They were Mission Volunteers, Promotional Workers and Missionaries including Rev. Croxmey, Nalumavadi and Rev. David Raj, Pannaivilai. It was the time of sharing gifts, cherishing mutual fellowship and rejuvenating team- spirit even in the midst of COVID 19. There was also a special meeting with Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. S.E.C Devasahayam, Thoothukudi-Nazareth Dioceseof the CSI.
