DEDICATION OF GRACE CHURCH - PHASE 1 Basement Karnataka Central

During the year 1956, a small group of families were worshiping in the rented house at 8th cross, Malleswaram under Hudson Memorial Church guidance. Rev V. Joshaya was the first presbyter in-charge appointed by the Diocese.

As families started growing, necessity for a own place for worship was thought off and a corner site 100' x 100' with a house consisting of 9 rooms was purchased in the year 1971.

During 1975 the existing rooms were demolished and made a big hall suitable for worship.

On 16.10.1977 the Church was named as GRACE CHURCH by the then Bishop Rt. Rev. K.E. Gill.

During 16.10.1988 the Church Altar was extended and a Bell Tower was constructed.

During 2006 old parsonage was demolished and a new Basement, Parish hall and a Parsonage was constructed by Karnataka Central Diocese.

A plan for construction of New Church ( CSI GRACE CHURCH ) having Basement, Ground Floor and Mezzanine was sanctioned by BBMP on 20/11/2018 by demolishing the existing Church and for a New Church for a seating capacity of 800 members.

Construction of 1st phase Basement was sanctioned by Diocese and M/s Prathap.S Civil Contractor was appointed.

On 04.08.2019 after the Confirmation Service , Foundation Stone was laid by Rt. Rev. Dr.P.K. Samuel, Bishop, KCD.

1st phase Basement work completed on November 2020.

On 20.12.2020 the 1st phase Basement and the New Projector to Basement was inaugurated and dedicated to the Glory of God by Rt. Rev. Dr.P.K. Samuel, Bishop, KCD in the presence of congregation.
