Thought for the day
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
- Matthew 7:7-8
The Madhya Kerala Diocesan Youth Movement of the Church of South India (CSI) organized a young women's conference 'WinGs 2019' at St. Thomas CSI Church, Tholassery, on 8th June from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Vice President, Miss. Sneha Elsa Johns presided the meeting. The conference was inaugurated by Dr Teena Anna Thomas, the Principal of BCM College, Kottayam. This year's theme was " women: Image of God in Mission ".
The main session was led by Mrs Omana Chacko, Manganam. There was an Open Forum conducted by Dr Archana Clara (Believers Medical College, Kottayam) and Dr Jessie Cherian (Tholassery), who are medical practitioners from two streams- Allopathy and Homeopathy. The sessions encouraged the participants to share their thoughts and to clear their queries on spiritual, social and medical aspects. The ice-breaking and activity sessions helped them to interact with each other and to lift the veil.
We have opened a wide platform to unite and to empower, around 250 vibrant young women utilized this great opportunity. The participation and cooperation of each and everyone made a way to reach the heights of success.
